Moneywise isn’t your typical personal finance podcast. While most focus on making money, Moneywise looks at what happens after, how life changes once you’ve made it. The show gets radically transparent about finances, with guests openly sharing their net worth, monthly expenses, and investment strategies. More than all the numbers, they open up about how money’s impacted their lives beyond the bank account. You won’t find these kinds of insights with a quick Google search, only on Moneywise.
The brand behind the podcast is Hampton, an exclusive membership community for founders, entrepreneurs, and CEOs. Created by Sam Parr and Joe Speiser, Hampton provides a private space for top business minds to connect, share advice, and grow. With Moneywise, they’re taking behind-closed-doors conversations packed with that advice, and making them available to a wider audience.
Seasoned entrepreneur Sam Parr hosts the show, occasionally sharing the role with Lower Street founder Harry Morton. They bring a signature direct and engaging style to the show offering listeners eye-opening insights into the financial realities of the ultra-wealthy.
Making a podcast for a high-net-worth audience meant Moneywise had to be more than just another interview show—it needed top-tier production and a thoughtful approach to guest selection. Every guest was carefully chosen and prepped for the radical transparent and insightful conversations they hoped for. Hampton trusted Lower Street for their expertise in production and narrative. They helped Moneywise not just stand out, but carve a whole new niche of personal finance podcasting.
Bringing Moneywise to Life
Moneywise was launched in 2024 as first an experiment with Sam Parr and Lower Street. They produced one episode with Ankar Nagpal, founder of Teachable and Carry, then asked the audience if they wanted more. Turns out listeners loved it and couldn’t wait for more. That first episode got 25,000 listens across podcast platforms and YouTube, in just the first week.
After that they began releasing episodes every Tuesday, produced by Lower Street’s Jackie Lamport, hosted by Sam Parr and occasionally Harry Morton.
The show delivers unfiltered financial conversations in both audio and video formats. Each episode features high-net-worth individuals breaking down their wealth, and spending habits, in the context of a greater lesson. Sometimes this may focus on life advice, like how relationships and money go together, the ins and outs of selling a company, and how to give back. The discussions go beyond numbers, exploring how wealth shapes lifestyle, decision-making, and happiness. This transparency makes the show unique, offering insights rarely shared in public.
Originally launched as an audio-first podcast, Moneywise has now expanded to include full video production for even greater reach.
Lower Street was by Sam Parr’s side from the start to produce a standout show for Hampton. We guided guest prep, production, and format, ensuring each conversation felt raw, valuable, and genuinely insightful. Beyond just high-quality production, we focused on reaching the target audience in a way that truly resonated—offering real financial insights they couldn’t find anywhere else. We took an intentional approach to keep the storytelling grounded, prioritizing substance over hype. In the end, it worked. Moneywise grabbed listeners’ attention and even turned many of them into Hampton members.
The Outcome
Moneywise has carved out a niche in personal finance by focusing on an elite, highly engaged audience of founders, entrepreneurs, and executives. It was created with the goal of being an acquisition tool for Hampton. And it delivered. Many listeners fit Hampton’s ideal member profile, and the show has helped drive applications and interest in the community.
Originally the goal was to convert only listeners. But guests on the show found it so valuable they wanted to join as well. Within the first six months of launch, 60% of interview guests had signed up as members after being on the show.
This aspect of a podcast as a lead gen tool gained interest from mainstream media. Lower Street were able to get them featured in Bloomberg in an article about how brand podcasts can be used to meet otherwise impossible-to-reach clients.
Additionally, with an average of 32,000 downloads per episode, and a 74%+ completion rate, the show proves to have a strong listener retention.
Moneywise brought Hampton solid ROI, a lead generation tool, and an awareness-building tool all in one.
While ad revenue was not a primary focus, Moneywise turned out to be a powerful monetization tool. In the first year, it generated over $100,400 in sponsorships. And, they’ve got plans to move to an exclusive, high-value model—just 2-5 advertisers per year, each paying six figures.
This approach works because MoneyWise isn’t mass-market content; it’s a direct line to an extremely niche, high-value audience. Instead of chasing volume, the show prioritizes hand-vetted partnerships, personally approved by Hampton founder Sam Parr. This ensures that every sponsor aligns with the show’s ethos, maintaining the trust and credibility built with listeners.
Moneywise Case Study: Conclusion
With Moneywise, Hampton has built more than just a podcast—it’s created a public place for high-net-worth individuals to talk openly about wealth. The show became a powerful tool for brand growth, lead generation, and audience engagement. By delivering radically transparent conversations the show attracted niche listeners and converted guests into paying members.
Lower Street played a key role in shaping its success, guiding guest prep, production, and storytelling to create a polished, compelling show.
I'm not being paid for this, they've not asked for it...I'm only sharing because I'm a happy customer:

If you're a bigger company looking to make a pod,…
Sam was so happy working with Lower Street, that he decided to bring us even more into the show. As of 2025, Sam asked Lower Street CEO Harry Morton to take a step out from behind the scenes and join as part-time host of the show.
In just a year, Moneywise has proven that a well-executed podcast can drive real business impact while standing out in a crowded market.
