Why Your SaaS Business Could Use a Podcast

Every founder wants to see their business win. And in SaaS, that journey usually comes with a story—your story. You built something incredible, and now you want people to see it, use it, and love it.

But here’s the challenge: people need to know you exist and trust what you’ve built.

That’s where podcasting comes in.

Unlike a social post that disappears in a scroll or a blog that gets bookmarked (but never read), a podcast invites people into a conversation. They listen while commuting, working out, or going about their day. No other medium is that intimate. And they trust you more when they feel that human-to-human connection, rather than a computer-to-human one.

Done right, a podcast can grab attention, build credibility, and turn listeners into users, customers, and even investors.

“Podcasting can be part of your Business Development, your Product Development or even just for fun because they're extremely fun to do. You'll never have a better conversation than you have when you're recording, you're so present and so mindful. So do a podcast, you will not regret it.”

Joel Di Trapani, Co-CEO and Co-Founder at Vygo

Vygo Used Podcasting to secure investors.

Vygo’s Unicorn Launcher started as a way to secure legendary coach Matt Mochary. It brought them much more than that. The show hit the top of the charts and took home a W3 Gold Award. More than this, the creative approach to the show gained them access to investors and even improved their employee retention.

Why work with Lower Street?

We’re not here to make you a good podcast, we’re here to make you a great one. The kind people actually want to listen to. We believe in blending creativity, narrative storytelling, and high-quality sound design to humanize brands and connect them with the right audience.

Since 2016, global brands have trusted us to create, launch, and grow standout podcasts that spread awareness and build loyalty. Our award-winning shows have helped clients achieve up to 10x ROI, attract new leads, and improve client retention through valuable content. Clients were able to bring in C-suite executives from billion-dollar companies—like the CEOs of Lattice and Monte Carlo– as guests, helping brands expand their authority and thought leadership. Along the way, our work has been featured in The Times, Forbes, and more.

Podcasting is what we do. From concept to production to promotion, we handle it all. You bring the knowledge, we bring the expertise, and together we’ll create something unforgettable.

"We made the right decision to work with Lower Street from the beginning. As a result of that choice, I had a guide and partner, and we skipped right to actually creating an awesome podcast, rather than experiencing a huge learning curve. I learned from what they already knew! Having a dedicated producer and the whole Lower Street team behind me means having a partner, and that was incredibly important in the co-creation process to launch a podcast."

What are your rates?

Our launch package pricing is listed here. We start every engagement with a launch package, as part of a seasonal package or in combination with a monthly production service. Options and pricing customized to your needs. Just get in touch if you have any questions.

How long does it take to launch a video podcast?

That really depends on you. How quickly will you be able to give feedback on creatives, give us the information we need, and sign things off internally?

We can be up and running in a few weeks. 8-10 weeks from kick-off call to episode 1 going out is typical, but if you're more ambitious with your podcast, it could take longer to develop.

It's best to talk it through. Let's talk.

Can you advise me on the best podcast equipment I need?

Absolutely. This is part of our launch process, we’ll walk you through what you need to achieve the best possible recordings. Get in touch with us to get started.

Can I hear some of the other podcasts you've produced?

Definitely, you can find some of the recent shows we've produced on our work page.

How long should my podcast be and how often should I release it?

Great questions. The answer really depends on you and your audience.

Content length and frequency should be informed by your target listener and what they need, but balanced with what is achievable for you.

This is exactly the stuff that we cover in our launch package. We'd be happy to talk this through with you and create a custom podcast strategy for your goals. Let's talk.

Who is Lower Street and how long have you been in business?

Since starting in late 2016 Lower Street has mushroomed from a solo venture (that one man is me, Harry Morton, hi!) to a full-time team of more than 30 podcast experts.

Fully remote from the get-go, our team is dispersed across North America, the UK, Europe, and Asia. So whatever time zone you wake up in, we're probably online doing our thing.

This isn’t just a job for us. We genuinely love what we do and want to share our passion for audio/video storytelling. You can find out more about us here.

I've got more questions
