Podcast Audience Development Analyst
Help develop some of the best branded podcasts out there.
Lower Street is looking for a top-tier Audience Development Analyst to join our growing Audience Development department, which spans marketing, PR, and analytics for the shows we work with.
If you love digging into analytics dashboards, optimizing campaigns, and helping great podcasts find their audience, this one could be for you!
Apply nowWho are we?
Lower Street is a podcasting company that works with agencies, consultants, and enterprise companies to make amazing shows. Shows that matter, that make an impact.
We're focused on 2 things:
- Making the best podcasts we possibly can, and
- Continually learning and improving on what we do - both individually and as a team.
From concept to distribution, we help clients to develop their ideas into fully fledged podcasts. And it's really fun.
What’s the gig?
As an Audience Development Analyst, you will work directly under Alex (Head of Audience Development) and Claire (Audience Development Specialist) to support campaigns across paid, owned, and earned media.
You will be deep in the data, ensuring everything we launch is tracked, optimized, and performing well. You will also use your creative skills to write ad copy, social posts, and outreach messages.
This is an ideal role for someone early in their career who is passionate about podcasts, loves problem-solving, and enjoys both spreadsheets and storytelling.
But don't worry, you're not alone. We foster a collaborative culture and work together to make sure everything we produce is the absolute best it can be.
Things you'll do:
-
Support audience development campaigns across paid, owned, and earned media, ensuring everything launches on time and runs smoothly.
-
QA data across analytics platforms, verify reporting accuracy, and flag issues proactively.
-
Manage a high volume of small campaigns, including daily checks, tracking links, screenshots, pacing reviews, and vendor communication across time zones.
-
Write short, engaging copy for ads, social posts, and podcast promotions.
-
Coordinate with podcast networks, publishers, and social partners on campaign setup, reporting, and troubleshooting.
-
Assist with weekly and monthly performance summaries, reports, and decks.
-
Support PR and outreach projects, including research, list building, copywriting, and tracking coverage.
-
Monitor trends in podcasting, social media, and creator marketing to identify new opportunities.
Who exactly are we looking for?
You might be early in your career, but you are eager to learn, analytical, and happiest when things are organized and running efficiently.
In short, does this sound like you? Someone that is:
-
Detail oriented. You notice the small things that others miss.
-
Analytical. You enjoy spotting patterns in data and using them to inform decisions.
-
Organized. You can manage multiple projects without dropping the ball.
-
Creative. You enjoy writing and exploring what makes audiences engage.
-
Curious. You like asking why and finding ways to improve processes.
-
Reliable. You take ownership and follow through consistently.
Why you?
For this role, you ideally have:
-
Experience working with data in Excel, Google Sheets, dashboards, or similar tools.
-
Strong written communication skills and the ability to write concise, engaging copy.
-
Fluency in social media platforms and awareness of podcast and creator culture.
-
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
-
One to two years of relevant internship or entry level experience, or you are a recent graduate interested in media, marketing, or analytics.
Why Us?
-
Work from anywhere. Your house in the country, a coffee shop in the city, a yurt in the forest -- we don’t mind. As long as you have strong enough wifi.
-
Truly great work culture. We’re a young and small, but established company -- you can make a real impact, but we’re not in the business of micromanagement.
-
Flexible Hours. Outside of ideally having some working overlap with UK working hours, we have a globally distributed, asynchronous team.
-
Generous PTO, sick leave, and public holiday policy. Just throw us some notice and share where you go on holiday!
-
Equipment Budget. Headphones, software, staplers, fax machine (probably not that last one) -- whatever you need to be set up for success.
-
Professional Development Allowance. Courses, conference tickets, books -- we’re invested in you.
-
Planned team retreats in really fun spots. Once a year, we get together in person to collaborate and celebrate. In 2025, we went to Iceland!
